Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Framing Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about their craft, possess a strong work ethic, and have a proven track record of delivering outstanding results. Responsibilities: - Reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications to determine the scope of work.
- Selecting and sourcing materials required for each project.
- Measuring and cutting materials to ensure precise fits and finishes.
- Installing structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, and molding.
- Constructing building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs.
- Collaborating with other construction professionals, such as architects and plumbers, to complete projects.
- Repairing or replacing damaged components as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and methods.
- Excellent understanding of safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and tools.
Education and Certifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant carpentry certifications are a plus.
