Job Description: 
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and finishing, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. As a painter with Ground up Careers of Arizona, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial, contributing to the enhancement of spaces and the satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching
• Apply paint or other finishes using various application methods (brush, roller, spray)
• Select and mix paint colors to match the required finish
• Ensure proper protection of surrounding areas from paint splatter and damage
• Repair and maintain painting equipment
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and client expectations
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a painter in a professional setting
• Solid knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Time management skills to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• OSHA certification a plus
• Portfolio of previous work
