Position Overview: We are looking for a Construction Superintendent who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring they are completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and budget.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment for all personnel on the construction site.
- Schedule and coordinate construction activities, including subcontractor work, deliveries, and inspections, to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, and escalate issues to project management as needed.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of daily activities, including progress reports, site conditions, and any incidents or changes.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in the commercial construction industry.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with construction software and tools.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
